Nekonyancer[img]https://x.boardgamearena.net/data/tutorials/img67d5db4d39ea94.24423933.jpg[/img] You have the power to shape the universe. What kind of galaxies will you build? [green][tip] This tutorial is best viewed on a computer![/green]1maintitlebar_content000
NekonyancerIn *Crafting the Cosmos,* each player will wield fundamental cosmic forces to craft their own private galaxy. Players earn points by completing nebulae and populating them with advanced life. [green]Whoever has the most points at the end of the game wins![/green]2maintitlebar_content000
Nekonyancer[blue]Each player will take one turn per round, and each turn is divided into two phases:[/blue] • The *Energy Phase,* when players shift energy tokens on the main board and receive resources based on the final configuration. • The *Craft Phase,* when players use those resources to cultivate their galaxy.5maintitlebar_content000
NekonyancerThis is the *main board.* It's split into four sections, representing the four fundamental cosmic forces of time, gravity, chemistry, and light. There are several *energy tokens* on the board: 1 [red]*player token*[/red] for each player and 4 [blue]*dark energy*[/blue] tokens (3 if playing with more than 2 players).6ctc-energy-tokens-3000ctc-energy-token-5 1 ctc-energy-token-3 1 ctc-energy-token-8 2 ctc-energy-token-7 2 ctc-energy-token-6 2 ctc-energy-token-9 2
NekonyancerAt the end of this phase, each energy token (no matter what color it is) will give us whatever resource is shown to its right. For example, [blue]*this token*[/blue] will give us one protolife. [img]https://x.boardgamearena.net/data/tutorials/img67d5db4e8ba9c0.11996615.jpg[/img]7ctc-energy-token-8000ctc-energy-token-8 2
NekonyancerWe will also gain *all* the resources shown on the *entire* left side of whatever section our [red]*player token*[/red] ends up in. If our token ends up in the Light section, for instance, we'll get three Hydrogen stars. [img]https://x.boardgamearena.net/data/tutorials/img67d5db4f9578c6.00787220.jpg[/img]8ctc-energy-token-3000ctc-energy-token-3 1
NekonyancerBefore we take resources, we can *shift* 3 tokens clockwise around the board (or fewer tokens multiple times). We must shift our [red]*player token*[/red] at least once. We cannot shift any other player's token.9ctc-energy-token-3000ctc-energy-token-3 1
NekonyancerLet's try it! *1.* Click on [red]*our player token*[/red] once. *2.* Click on this [blue]*dark energy token*[/blue] once. *3. [blue]Confirm[/blue]* our action at the top!10ctc-energy-tokens-3010ctc-energy-token-9 2 ctc-energy-token-3 1
NekonyancerGood! All in all, we gained 2 helium stars, 2 protolife, 2 energy cards, 1 time, 1 graviton, and 1 supernova. [img]https://x.boardgamearena.net/data/tutorials/img67d5db5095ef13.54788659.jpg[/img] I'll go over what each resource does during the Craft Phase.1maintitlebar_content67c78ed06a99e00
NekonyancerBut first, we need to decide which kinds of energy cards we want to take. [blue]*Click here!*[/blue] Nevermind. This step is buggy in Tutorial Mode. Don't worry, it will work in a real game. Click on *"Continue"* instead.2ctc-draw-energy-card67c78ed06a99e00ctc-draw-energy-card 2
NekonyancerThere are [blue]*four face up energy cards*[/blue] in the supply, along with a deck of [red]*face down cards.*[/red] These cards come in four different colors, corresponding to the four forces you've already learned about.3ctc-energy-cards-1-67c78ed51a6d200ctc-energy-card-deck-4- 1 ctc-energy-cards-1- 2 ctc-energy-cards-1--1 2 ctc-energy-cards-2- 2 ctc-energy-cards-2--1 2
NekonyancerBefore we decide which cards to take, we should examine our hand. Each player received a hand of *four random cards* at the beginning of the game. You should be able to see ours at the bottom of your screen. Hmm. We have 1 chemistry card (purple), 1 light card (red), and two gravity cards (blue).4ctc-hand-2-67c78ed51a6d200
NekonyancerIn general, we'll want to collect several cards of the same color, so... *Take this Chemistry card!*5ctc-energy-cards-1-67c78ed51a6d210ctc-energy-cards-1- 16
NekonyancerNote that BGA did not reveal another card from the deck to replace the one we took. That won't happen until we finish taking cards. *Take the other purple card!*1ctc-energy-cards-1--167c78eef1100310ctc-energy-cards-1--1 16
NekonyancerOkay, time for the *Craft Phase!* Again, this is when we'll use resources to cultivate our galaxy. Any resources we don't use (except for time and energy cards) will be *discarded* at the end of our turn. [blue]We'll start by taking a closer look at our player board.[/blue]1maintitlebar_content67c78ef0c126f00
NekonyancerEach player started the game with three *nebulae* surrounding a central hydrogen star. [img]https://x.boardgamearena.net/data/tutorials/img67d5db51b726d6.12480664.jpg[/img] Each nebula lists star requirements across the top and a victory point value at the bottom.2ctc-player-board-start-end-marker-9214348767c78ef0c126f00
NekonyancerThe nebula at the top of our board is the easiest one to complete! [img]https://x.boardgamearena.net/data/tutorials/img67d5db52d6b126.53023749.jpg[/img] We'll have to position 1 Hydrogen star, 1 Helium star, and 2 Oxygen stars next to it. When we do, we'll discard one of the adjacent stars and score four points! The orange symbol under the stars just means it's incomplete.3ctc-player-board-start-end-marker-9214348767c78ef0c126f00
NekonyancerWith that in mind, let's place our two helium stars! [blue]*Click here!*[/blue] Nevermind. *Continue...*4ctc-place-star-He67c78ef0c126f00ctc-place-star-He 2
NekonyancerStars can be placed on any large empty slots in between nebulae. All the valid slots should be highlighted now! We should place our stars so that they contribute toward multiple nebulae. *Click [red]here[/red] to place a star!*5ctc-player-board-star-7-11-9214348767c78f093a3da10ctc-player-board-star-7-11-92143487 1
NekonyancerGood! One more star to place. Our easy Nebula doesn't need a second Helium star, but we can still make use of it. You'll see how very soon! *Click [red]here![/red]*1ctc-player-board-star-11-11-9214348767c78f138e88810ctc-player-board-star-11-11-92143487 1
NekonyancerTo make our second helium star more useful, we can convert it into a *supernova.* Supernovae are wild - they can count as any normal star! I'll click on [blue]*"Convert to supernova"*[/blue] for you...1ctc-convert-into-supernova67c78f30401ac00ctc-convert-into-supernova 2
Nekonyancer*Click on [red]this star[/red] to convert it!*2ctc-player-board-star-11-11-9214348767c78f348287610ctc-player-board-star-11-11-92143487 1
NekonyancerExcellent! Our easy nebula is now adjacent to a Hydrogen star, a Helium star, and a wild Supernova, which can count as an Oxygen star. [img]https://x.boardgamearena.net/data/tutorials/img67d5db54120f10.69200402.jpg[/img] All we need to complete it is another oxygen star! We can get one next round.1ctc-player-board-start-end-marker-9214348767c78f360ecb300
NekonyancerIn the meantime, let's start working on *life.* Life tokens occupy the tiny purple slots in between star slots. When a completed nebula is surrounded by six life tokens, they spawn *advanced life,* which is worth victory points.2ctc-player-board-start-end-marker-9214348767c78f360ecb300
NekonyancerWe started with one [red]*protolife*[/red] token near the top of our board. [img]https://x.boardgamearena.net/data/tutorials/img67d5db55541507.31562013.jpg[/img] It won't do any good all the way up there, so let's *move* it!3ctc-player-board-start-end-marker-9214348767c78f360ecb300
NekonyancerFor that, we'll need to use *gravitons.* Each *graviton* can move one star or one life token to an empty adjacent space. We can also move them through chains of occupied spaces, but we'll get into that later. I'll click on [blue]*"Movement"*[/blue] for you...4ctc-movement67c78f360ecb300ctc-movement 2
NekonyancerNow we have to tell BGA what we want to move. Note that we can choose any life token or star, but *NOT* our supernova. I'll select this [red]*proto life token*[/red] for you...7ctc-player-board-start-end-marker-9214348767c78f406af4f00ctc-player-board-life-8-18-92143487 1
Nekonyancer*Move it [red]here![/red]*8ctc-player-board-life-9-16-9214348767c78f41b125610ctc-player-board-life-9-16-92143487 1
NekonyancerExcellent! Next, let's place new protolife tokens! We can only place them in slots that are *adjacent* to existing life. Life creates life! I'll click on [blue]*"Place proto life"*[/blue] for you...1ctc-place-protoLife67c78f42cbef300ctc-place-protoLife 2
Nekonyancer*Place a token [red]here![/red]*2ctc-player-board-life-8-14-9214348767c78f483380e10ctc-player-board-life-8-14-92143487 1
Nekonyancer*And [red]here![/red]*1ctc-player-board-life-7-12-9214348767c78f4b19da310ctc-player-board-life-7-12-92143487 1
NekonyancerOkay, we've used all our star, supernova conversion, graviton, and protolife resources. Let's go over *energy cards* next, which - along with time - are the only resources that can carry over from round to round. Still, I think we should use them now.1ctc-gain-power-card67c78f4c8587b00
NekonyancerThe main way to use *energy cards* is to discard matching sets to gain *power cards,* which grant special abilities. When we discard a set, the number of energy cards in the set determines how many power cards we'll draw. After drawing them, we'll choose one to keep and discard the rest. I'll click on [blue]*"Gain power card"*[/blue] for you...3ctc-gain-power-card67c78f4c8587b00
NekonyancerLet's discard 3 chemistry cards. [blue]*Click here!*[/blue]4ctc-pay-energy-cards-3-167c78f4e9d08710ctc-pay-energy-cards-3-1 2
NekonyancerSince we used 3 chemistry energy cards, we drew 3 chemistry power cards. As you can see, chemistry power cards tend to revolve around *life.* [blue]Heh. Revolve. Because stars and... nevermind.[/blue] Again, we must select one to keep and discard the rest.1player_name_9214348767c78f5a7b6d500
Nekonyancer[blue]Each card has three important features:[/blue] *Left side:* cost to activate ability. *Middle:* ability's effect. *Right side:* extra resource during Energy Phase.2player_name_9214348767c78f5a7b6d500
NekonyancerLet's take a closer look at *Genetic Drift,* as an example. If we discard an energy card from our hand, we can move 1 proto life and then *stabilize* it (the purple/green icon). In addition, we will get +1 proto life in every Energy Phase just from having the card.3player_name_9214348767c78f5a7b6d500
NekonyancerThat sounds pretty good to me. Let's take it! *Select [red]Genetic Drift.[/red] Then click on [blue]"Confirm"[/blue] at the top!*4ctc-power-card-reveal-9-67c78f5a7b6d510ctc-gain-power-card-confirm 2 ctc-power-card-reveal-9- 1
NekonyancerGreat! The [red]*Genetic Drift*[/red] card was tucked under the left side of our player board. Since we discarded 3 cards to get it, it was placed in a 3-card slot. As you can see, we have slots for three more Power cards. We'll need to discard sets of the corresponding sizes to fill them!1ctc-player-board-time-crystal-2067c78f966c75700ctc-player-board-power-card-2-92143487-9- 1
NekonyancerBelow the fourth slot, it shows that we can also discard 5 matching cards to gain 6 points [blue](see arrow)[/blue]. [green]We can use that option as many times as we like during the game.[/green]2ctc-player-board-time-crystal-2067c78f966c75700ctc-power-token-11 10
NekonyancerFinally, note that each power card slot has a [red]*little pink token*[/red] next to it... except for the slot we filled. When we put the card there, we moved that token to the main board!3ctc-player-board-time-crystal-2067c78f966c75700ctc-power-token-2 1 ctc-power-token-11 1 ctc-power-token-16 1
NekonyancerIt's right [red]*here,*[/red] in the Chemistry section. We'll earn +1 proto life next round because of it. Our token's presence here does *not* block other tokens. They can be stacked on top, and all of them will provide income.4ctc-power-token-767c78f966c75700ctc-power-token-7 1
NekonyancerNext, let's activate the card! [blue]*Click here!*[/blue]5ctc-use-power-card-967c78f966c75710ctc-use-power-card-9 2
NekonyancerTo activate it, we have to pay an energy card. Let's keep our two gravity cards so we can discard them later as a set. *Discard the [red]light card![/red]*1ctc-hand-2-67c78fa20fff610ctc-hand-2- 1
NekonyancerNow we'll apply the ability, which is to move a proto life and then stabilize it. First, we have to select one. I'll go ahead and select [red]*this one*[/red] for you...1ctc-player-board-life-9-16-9214348767c78fa6d8ba800ctc-player-board-life-9-16-92143487 1
NekonyancerNext, we'll choose a destination. We have quite a few choices! Earlier, I mentioned that we can move life tokens or stars through chains of occupied spaces to reach distant unoccupied spaces. That's how we're able to reach [blue]*these spaces!*[/blue]2ctc-player-board-life-10-14-9214348767c78fa8c07ea00ctc-player-board-life-6-10-92143487 2 ctc-player-board-life-6-14-92143487 2 ctc-player-board-life-8-10-92143487 2
NekonyancerGood to know. But we'll just move one space for now. *Move the life token [red]here![/red]*3ctc-player-board-life-10-14-9214348767c78fa8c07ea10ctc-player-board-life-10-14-92143487 1
NekonyancerExcellent! After we moved it, the proto life was *stabilized,* as specified on the power we activated. [img]https://x.boardgamearena.net/data/tutorials/img67d5db56694dc2.74205625.jpg[/img]1ctc-player-board-resource-slider-supernova-9214348767c78faa05f5900
Nekonyancer[blue]So what's the difference between proto life and stable life?[/blue] Well, I mentioned earlier that we'll need to completely *surround* a nebula with life to create *advanced life.* When that happens, all the proto life tokens involved in the process will die. Stable life tokens will survive. [green]We'll see this in action next round![/green]2ctc-player-board-resource-slider-supernova-9214348767c78faa05f5900
NekonyancerLet's keep going. We have two gravity cards in our hand. Let's turn them in for another set! I'll click on [blue]*"Gain power card"*[/blue] for you...3ctc-gain-power-card67c78faa05f5900ctc-gain-power-card 2
NekonyancerNow click on [blue]*"Pay 2 energy cards!"*[/blue]4ctc-pay-energy-cards-2-367c78fbfb14c510ctc-pay-energy-cards-2-3 2
NekonyancerSince we only discarded two cards, we only got two cards to choose from! Gravity power cards usually have to do with movement or supernovae. Hmm... I think Wormhole will synergize quite nicely with our Genetic Drift card. *Select [red]Wormhole.[/red] [blue]Confirm![/blue]*1player_name_9214348767c78fc1b2d4e10ctc-gain-power-card-confirm 2 ctc-power-card-reveal-32- 1
Nekonyancer*Great!* Wormhole now occupies our 2-card slot, and the pink token that used to be [blue]*here*[/blue] is now in the [red]*Gravity section*[/red] of the main board. That means +1 graviton per round!1ctc-player-board-power-token-1-container-9214348767c78fd4aeadc00ctc-player-board-power-token-1-container-92143487 2 ctc-power-token-2 1
NekonyancerWe're completely out of everything, so BGA automatically ended the *Craft Phase* of our turn. There's one [red]*final step:*[/red] we can either draw a nebula or stabilize one proto life.2pagemaintitletext67c78fd4aeadc00pagemaintitletext 1
NekonyancerThere are three separate [red]*stacks of nebulae:*[/red] a level *1* stack, a level *2* stack, and a level *3* stack. You might have to *scroll down* a bit to see them. Higher level nebulae have more difficult star requirements, but they're worth more points!3maintitlebar_content67c78fd4aeadc00ctc-nebula-stack-1--5- 1 ctc-nebula-stack-2--9- 1 ctc-nebula-stack-3--25- 1
NekonyancerWe can't see exactly what each nebula requires, but the hazy glow on the back gives us clues! This [green]*Level 3 nebula,*[/green] for instance, looks like it will require [red]several Hydrogen stars[/red] and [blue]a couple Helium stars.[/blue]4ctc-nebula-stack-3--25-67c78fd4aeadc00ctc-nebula-stack-3--25- 3
NekonyancerMm... let's just stick with an easy one for now. *Click on the [red]Level 1 stack[/red] or on [blue]"Draw a • nebula"[/blue] at the top!*5ctc-nebula-stack-1--5-67c78fd4aeadc10ctc-end-craft-nebula-1 2 ctc-nebula-stack-1--5- 1
NekonyancerHere's the [red]*nebula*[/red] we drew! It requires 2 hydrogen stars, 1 helium star, and 1 carbon star. It will be worth 3 points when completed. Next, we have to decide where to place it on our board.1ctc-nebula-hand-5-67c790ad4085b00ctc-nebula-hand-5- 1
Nekonyancer*Place our new nebula [red]here![/red]*2ctc-player-board-nebula-6-3-9214348767c790ad4085b10ctc-player-board-nebula-6-3-92143487 1
Nekonyancer[blue]That brings us to the end of our first turn![/blue] But there's one resource I haven't explained yet: *time.*1ctc-player-board-time-crystal-2067c790b94dd1800
NekonyancerEach player started with one [red]*time token*[/red] at the beginning of their time track. We gained 1 time during the Energy Phase, which allowed the token to advance one space.2ctc-player-board-time-crystal-2067c790b94dd1800ctc-player-board-time-crystal-20 1
NekonyancerWhen we gain enough time for the token to reach the 6th slot on the track, two things will occur: *1.* We will automatically take a new time token from the supply and place it at the beginning of our time track. *2.* We will gain the option of *discharging a time chamber.*3ctc-player-board-time-crystal-2067c790b94dd1800
NekonyancerWhen a time chamber is discharged, the time token in the 6th slot of the track will shift as far to the right as it can go. We will immediately gain however many points are printed on the slot it ends up in. [img]https://x.boardgamearena.net/data/tutorials/img67d5db576c65e9.87587371.jpg[/img] [red]In addition, we can immediately gain a new star of any type![/red] (Except supernova.)4ctc-player-board-time-crystal-2067c790b94dd1800
Nekonyancer[green]Okay, we've covered all the resources now! [/green] Next round, I'll show you how to *complete* a nebula and create *advanced life.* [blue]But first, our opponent will take their turn...[/blue]5maintitlebar_content67c790b94dd1800
NekonyancerOur opponent is about to end their turn! When they do, everyone will have taken a turn, and the round will end. At that point, BGA will go through *four* short steps.1maintitlebar_content67c791992fb8200
Nekonyancer*Step 1: All goal cards move.*---If you *scroll down* a little, you'll find the [red]*goal card track.*[/red] At the beginning of the game, only the first slot is filled. BGA will shift that card into the next slot to the right and draw a new card to fill the leftmost slot. *Watch!*2maintitlebar_content67c791992fb8200ctc-universal-goal-cards-0-16- 1 ctc-universal-goal-cards-1 1 ctc-universal-goal-cards-2 1 ctc-universal-goal-cards-3 1
NekonyancerWhen a goal card reaches the [blue]*last space*[/blue] in the track, it will be *scored.* The player who has the most of the contested resource will score [green]6 points.[/green] Whoever has the 2nd most will score [green]3 points.[/green] If multiple players are tied for 1st, they all score 6, and no one scores 3.1ctc-universal-goal-cards-1-16-67c791c1a52af00ctc-universal-goal-cards-3 2
Nekonyancer*Step 2: Check for the end of the game.*---There are two game-ending triggers. *1.* There are no more time crystals in the supply. You can check how many are left [red]*here,*[/red] just above the gravity section of the main board. *2.* The last goal card is scored. Each time you play, BGA will prepare a stack of *6* goals, randomly drawn from a pool of 16. If either condition has been met, the game will end at this point.2maintitlebar_content67c791c1a52af00ctc-time-crystal-supply-container 1
Nekonyancer*Step 3: Reconcile hand size limits.*---Each player has a maximum hand size of 10 energy cards. Players with more than 10 at this point must choose and discard cards until they have 10. [green]That's it for end-of-round stuff! Let's start the second round![/green]3maintitlebar_content67c791c1a52af00
NekonyancerFirst, we need to shift energy tokens on the board. Remember, we can shift tokens up to* 3 times,* and our [red]*player token*[/red] must be shifted at least once.4ctc-energy-token-367c791c1a52af00ctc-energy-token-3 1
NekonyancerRight now, the Chemistry section is completely full of tokens. If we try to shift a token into a section that's already full, we'll *skip* over it, allowing us to move two spaces with only 1 movement!5ctc-energy-token-367c791c1a52af00
NekonyancerLet's do it! *1.* Shift our [red]*energy token*[/red] once. *2.* Shift our [red]*energy token*[/red] again. It should be in the Time section now. *3.* Shift this [green]*dark energy token.*[/green] *4. [blue]Confirm![/blue]*6ctc-energy-tokens-367c791c1a52af10ctc-energy-token-9 3 ctc-energy-token-3 1
Nekonyancer*Good!* The energy tokens gave us 1 oxygen star, 2 life stabilizers, 2 time, 2 proto life, and 2 energy cards. We also gained 1 graviton and 1 proto life from the [red]*little pink tokens!*[/red] Next, we'll choose and [blue]*draw energy cards...*[/blue]1ctc-draw-energy-card67c7920fc1dac00ctc-power-token-7 1 ctc-power-token-2 1
Nekonyancer*Draw this purple card!*2ctc-energy-cards-1-67c792181225210
Nekonyancer*Draw our second card from the [blue]deck![/blue]*2ctc-energy-card-deck-4-67c792219acba10ctc-energy-card-deck-4- 2
Nekonyancer*Crafting time!* First, let's place the oxygen star to complete our first nebula. I'll click on [blue]*"Place O star (x1)"*[/blue] for you...1ctc-place-star-O67c792251637100ctc-place-star-O 2

Nekonyancer*Excellent!* We satisfied that nebula's star requirements, so a new option appeared at the top: [blue]*"Score nebula."*[/blue] When we score one, we'll unfortunately have to discard an adjacent star. I'll click on [blue]*"Score nebula"*[/blue] for you...1ctc-score-nebula67c792354fbb600ctc-score-nebula 2
NekonyancerNext, I'll click on [red]*this nebula*[/red] for you...2ctc-player-board-nebula-4-3-92143487-23-67c7927799a8700ctc-player-board-nebula-4-3-92143487-23- 1
NekonyancerOkay, now we have to select a star to discard. Supernovae count as stars and can be discarded in this way. [blue]Which star do you think we should discard?[/blue]4ctc-player-board-star-11-11-9214348767c7927a52c2a00
NekonyancerThe helium, hydrogen, and supernova stars can all be reused for completing our bottom two nebulae. Our oxygen star can't! *Click on the [red]oxygen star[/red] to discard it!*5ctc-player-board-star-7-13-9214348767c7927a52c2a10ctc-player-board-star-7-13-92143487 1
NekonyancerExcellent! We completed the nebula and scored 4 points! [green]*This token*[/green] will keep track of our score. Next, let's populate our completed nebula with *advanced life.* This will require us to completely *surround* it with life tokens. I'll click on [blue]*"Place proto life (x3)"*[/blue] for you...1ctc-player-board-score-marker-9214348767c7927e9fa5e00ctc-place-protoLife 2 ctc-player-board-score-marker-92143487 3
Nekonyancer*Place a proto life token [red]here![/red]*2ctc-player-board-life-8-10-9214348767c792e87dec610ctc-player-board-life-8-10-92143487 1
Nekonyancer*And [red]here![/red]*1ctc-player-board-life-10-10-9214348767c792ec0dadb10ctc-player-board-life-10-10-92143487 1
Nekonyancer*And [red]here![/red]*1ctc-player-board-life-11-12-9214348767c792ee3a34710ctc-player-board-life-11-12-92143487 1
NekonyancerNow that our completed nebula is surrounded with life, we can [blue]*create advanced life...*[/blue] [red]But we shouldn't do it yet![/red] Do you remember why?1ctc-create-advanced-life67c792ef28f8a00ctc-create-advanced-life 2
NekonyancerBecause all proto life tokens involved in the process will die! Before we create advanced life, we should *stabilize* as many tokens as we can! I'll click on [blue]*"Stabilize proto life"*[/blue] for you...2ctc-stabilize-DNA67c792ef28f8a00ctc-stabilize-DNA 2
Nekonyancer*Click on [red]this token[/red] to stabilize it!*3ctc-player-board-life-11-12-9214348767c792f2865dd10ctc-player-board-life-11-12-92143487 1
Nekonyancer*[red]This one too![/red]*1ctc-player-board-life-10-10-9214348767c792f75c0cf10ctc-player-board-life-10-10-92143487 1
NekonyancerOkay, we're out of stabilization resources. I'll click on [blue]*"Create advanced life"*[/blue] for you...1ctc-create-advanced-life67c792f89063700ctc-create-advanced-life 2
Nekonyancer*Click [red]here!*[/red]2ctc-player-board-nebula-4-3-92143487--23-67c79309e1e9b10ctc-player-board-nebula-4-3-92143487--23- 1 ctc-hand-2- 1
NekonyancerGood! We lost 3 proto life tokens, but we gained an advanced life token! This one turned out to be worth 4 points. [img]https://x.boardgamearena.net/data/tutorials/img67d5db58796491.95493433.jpg[/img] This is actually due to a bug that has already been fixed. The first few advanced life tokens (2 x the number of players) should be worth *6 to 8* points each. Tokens after that are only worth *4 to 7* points each.1ctc-player-board-start-end-marker-9214348767c7930bbcac900
Nekonyancer[red]Advanced life token values are always kept secret from opponents! [/red] It looks like the token is face up on your screen, but it's *face down* for our opponent. All tokens will be revealed at the end of the game.2ctc-player-board-start-end-marker-9214348767c7930bbcac900
NekonyancerWe're almost done with our second turn. We have one graviton resource left to use. I'll click on [blue]*"Movement"*[/blue] for you...4ctc-movement67c7930bbcac900ctc-movement 2
NekonyancerSince this nebula is already populated, we should start moving our stable life over to the next nebula we plan to complete. I'll select [red]*this token*[/red] for you...5ctc-player-board-life-10-10-9214348767c79328cd03e00ctc-player-board-life-10-10-92143487 1
Nekonyancer*Move it [red]here![/red]*6ctc-player-board-life-12-10-9214348767c7932a4b02310ctc-player-board-life-12-10-92143487 1
NekonyancerThe only other thing we can do this turn is activate our Wormhole card, but we don't have enough stable life to make it worth it. *Click on [red]"End craft phase!"[/red]*1ctc-end-craft67c7932e4e5c310ctc-end-craft 1
NekonyancerJust like before, we can either stabilize a proto life or draw a new nebula at the end of our turn. [blue]*Draw a ••• nebula!*[/blue]1ctc-end-craft-nebula-367c793347d12d10ctc-end-craft-nebula-3 2
Nekonyancer*Place it [red]here![/red]*1ctc-player-board-nebula-4-1-9214348767c79340c01d210ctc-player-board-nebula-4-1-92143487 1
Nekonyancer[blue]Okay, I think you've seen enough![/blue] Again, there are two game-ending conditions: 1. All time tokens are taken. 2. The 6th goal card is scored. If either condition is true at the end of a round, the game will end, and [green]whoever has the most points wins![/green]1maintitlebar_content67c793505de6c00
Nekonyancer[blue]Here's a recap of all the ways to get points...[/blue] *• Completed nebulas.* *• Advanced life tokens.* *• Discharged time tokens.* *• Discarded sets of 5 energy cards.* If there's a tie, whoever has the most leftover energy cards wins.2maintitlebar_content67c793505de6c00
Nekonyancer[blue]*Thank you for playing through this tutorial for Crafting the Cosmos!*[/blue] If you have any questions or comments about the tutorial, feel free to send *Nekonyancer* a message! Big thank yous go out to... • *David Gordon I* and *TAM* for designing this game. • *Office Dog* for publishing. • *Quillsilver* for illustrating. • *LeSteffen* for developing it for BGA. Have fun! :D3maintitlebar_content67c793505de6c00
