Life isn't easy in the enchanted forest! Elves and gnomes each have their own network of hidden paths. Will you find your way or be lost in the forest?

NekonyancerIn *Fairy Trails,* players play as either elves (pink) or gnomes (yellow). They play cards that expand the road network. Once a road is completed, that player may place a stone on each of his houses that is connected to that road.
[green]The player who places all their stones first is the winner![/green]2archivecontrol_editmode_centercomment000
Nekonyancer[blue]Each turn, you must do the following:[/blue]
*-* Place 1 of your 2 cards onto the board, rotating it however you like.
*-* Draw a new card.
That's it! Simple, right?3ft_card_21A000
NekonyancerLet's try it!
*1. Select this card.*
*2. Click on the empty space to the left of the existing starter tile.*
*3. Click on "Play Card" at the top!*4archivecontrol_editmode_centercomment010ft_card_00B 17 ft_position_-1_0 18
Nekonyancer*Great!*
We drew [red]*a new card*[/red] to replace the one we played and ended our turn.1ft_card_21A632b0d37923d900ft_card_21A 6
NekonyancerLet's examine what we did here on the board. We're playing as the *pink elves.*
Our tile placement put two pink houses on a single pink road. As soon as we finish that road - that is, make it so every branch of it hits a dead end - we can score those houses!2archivecontrol_editmode_centercomment632b0d37923d900
NekonyancerIt also put another yellow house on the board, which belongs to our opponent, but it's not on the same road as the other yellow house.
That makes it more difficult for our opponent to score them!3archivecontrol_editmode_centercomment632b0d37923d900
NekonyancerNext turn!
*1. Select this card.*
*2. Place it under the last card we played.*
*3. Click on "Play Card" at the top!*1archivecontrol_editmode_centercomment632b0d5b1ef2d10play_card 19 ft_position_-1_1 18 ft_card_21A 17
NekonyancerThe card we just played features an *underpass.*
That means the two pink roads criss-crossing in the middle of the card are *NOT* considered part of the same road network!1archivecontrol_editmode_centercomment632b0d6d3aaa500
NekonyancerLet's score some points!
*1. Select this card.*
*2. Select the space under the last card we played.*
*3. Click on "Play card" at the top!*1archivecontrol_editmode_centercomment632b0d84a861010play_card 19 ft_position_-1_2 18 ft_card_00D 17
Nekonyancer*There we go!* Every branch of that pink road network hit a dead end, completing the network.
[blue]Since we completed it, we placed a stone on each of our houses in it![/blue]1archivecontrol_editmode_centercomment632b0da82b24a00
NekonyancerBy the way, if our opponent completed our network for us, we would still be able to place stones on the houses, but we'd have to wait for our turn to do so.2archivecontrol_editmode_centercomment632b0da82b24a00
NekonyancerHere's another example of a completed network, courtesy of *KingJulian123:*
[img]https://x2.boardgamearena.net/data/tutorials/https___x.boardgamearena.net_data_tutorials_https___snipboard.io_tafUDo.jpg[/img]
Look at the network traced by the thick purple line. Every road in that network ends in a [red]*dead end,*[/red] which allowed the two houses in the network to be [green]*scored!*[/green]3archivecontrol_editmode_centercomment632b0da82b24a00
NekonyancerThat's pretty much it! The game will continue as you've seen until one player places their last stone. [red]*The player information panels*[/red] can help you keep track of how many stones remain.
[green]The first player to place all their stones wins![/green]5archivecontrol_editmode_centercomment632b0da82b24a00ft_player_stats_11941354 1 ft_player_stats_92143487 1
NekonyancerIf all the cards are laid out and no one has placed all their stones yet, whoever has placed *more* of them is the winner!
The number of cards remaining is shown [red]*here.*[/red]6ft_deck_size632b0da82b24a00ft_deck_size 6
