Trick-n-Chef

Open restaurants, recruit chefs, and build the most prestigious culinary empire in this tactical trick-taking game. Each round, players play ten restaurant cards, following suit whenever possible. The winner of each trick collects the cards, while the player who played the lowest card hires a chef. Everyone who earns neither reward receives a coin. Chef supply keeps the table shifting: the suit with the fewest chefs remaining becomes trump, and several suits can be trump at once. Spend coins to raise or lower a card's value by two, turning an ordinary play into a surprise victory—or a calculated loss. At round end, chefs score only the lowest collected restaurant cards of their matching color, and saved coins are worth points. After three rounds, the player with the most prestige wins.
