NekonyancerIn *Word Traveler,* each player has a secret map of locations they want to visit, but they'll need help from other players to reach them and collect *souvenirs.* [blue]Here's the catch: much like asking for directions in a foreign language, you have only a few words to communicate where you want to go. Nekonyancer[blue]Each day of this 2-day trip is divided into 3 phases:[/blue] *1. Prepare.* *2. Plan.* *3. Travel.*3player_name_11941354

Nekonyancer[blue]*Phase 1: Prepare*[/blue]---BGA will give each player everything they need for their exciting day of sightseeing: - A [red]*secret map*[/red] of locations. - 10 [blue]*word cards.*[/blue] - 3 [green]*arrows.*[/green] (5 on Day 2). *Scroll down* and make sure you have everything before we leave the hotel!4player_name_11941354

NekonyancerGot everything? Great! Then we'll move onto... [blue]*Phase 2: Plan*[/blue]---During this phase, each player will use their *word cards* and *arrows* to tell other players where they want to go.6player_name_11941354

NekonyancerAs you can see, each player starts with a *Tourist Meeple* in the center of the city. This particular city is New York, but you can also visit Paris, London, and Tokyo! [blue]Our meeple is the one that's hopping up and down.[/blue]7wot-container-3-3

NekonyancerNow then, where should we go? Well, if you check our [red]*map,*[/red] you'll see that there are many blue circles and two green stars on it. NekonyancerOkay, that's a good start. After all, it's unlikely that our teammates will think of the *dogwalker* as "Regal!" NekonyancerThis one will be tricky. There are *5* locations to the right of the bodega! Nekonyancer[blue]*Phase 3: Travel*[/blue]---During this phase, everyone will analyze each player's clues and guess at their locations using *footprint* tokens. Our teammate will analyze our clues first.1player_name_11941354

NekonyancerBy the way, if our teammate had steered us toward the [blue]*Reuben sandwich*[/blue] (for cheap) and the [red]*Street Busker*[/red] (for complicated, dubious, and not trendy), we still would have received a point for the Busker. Our *Map* determines whether we score points, no matter what our original intentions were!2wot-container-1-6

NekonyancerThe [red]*Pigeon token*[/red] is used to keep track of our score. There was a [blue]*souvenir*[/blue] on the 4-point space. When the pigeon reached it, we picked it up! [blue][tip] Souvenirs determine our rank at the end of the game![/blue]3wot-container-0-1

NekonyancerNext, let's examine [green]*nekonekoneko3's*[/green] clues. You may need to scroll down to see them. The [blue]*first location*[/blue] is south, and it's fragile. We have three options... NekonyancerThe last location is north. *"Bold"* and *"Not Moving."* I'd say that the Rockette dancers, the Chrysler Building, the New York Times, and taxi drivers are all *Bold.* (Especially the taxi drivers!)
