But today, the amulet shattered and the ghosts escaped! Invisible to the naked eye, the only way to trap the ghosts is by taking photos of them. Explore the town with your camera. Capture the hidden ghosts or mend the amulet to restore the protection spell and save the town from terror! NekonyancerIn *Spooky Tower,* players will collect Building cards from the supply and then *flip* them to trigger various effects. Most of the effects revolve around finding *Ghosts,* but we can also find *Amulet Fragments.* [green]The first player to collect 5 Ghosts or 3 Amulet Fragments wins the game![/green]2maintitlebar_content

NekonyancerLet's get started! The first thing we have to do on our turn is roll the dice. *Click on [blue]"Roll dice"[/blue] at the top!*5generalactions

NekonyancerLooks like we rolled a *1* and a *2,* as you can see in the bottom-right corner of the board. Those are normal d6s, by the way. The numbers on each one are *1/2/3/4/5/6.*1maintitlebar_content

Nekonyancer[blue]Next, we must either...[/blue] • Take a Building card from the supply *OR* • Flip all our cards of a single value. We'll spend the first few turns taking cards.3maintitlebar_content

NekonyancerThere are twelve different stacks of *Building cards* on the board. The big white number at the top of each card represents the *single die value* or *combined dice value* required to take it.4maintitlebar_content

Nekonyancer[blue]In this case, with a 1 and a 2, we can take...[/blue] • a *1* card (single die value). • a *2* card (single die value). • a *3* card (combined dice value).5table_building_card_2

Nekonyancer3 and 6! That's more like it! We can take a *3* card, a *6* card, or a *9* card! The cards with numbers above 6 are harder to get, but they have stronger effects! *Click on this stack to take a 9 card!*1table_building_card_9

NekonyancerDid you see the number in the top-left corner of the stack flash red for a second? It indicates how many cards are left in the stack. [red]There are four 9 cards left![/red]1table_building_slot_9

NekonyancerThe Clock Tower is in the *top-right corner* of the board. Whenever we activate a Clock Tower icon, we advance the clock's hand to the next icon and receive whatever it points to! NekonyancerWhenever we activate a Pawprint, we can take a [red]*Ghost Pet*[/red] from the supply. Ghost Pets count as normal ghosts, and remember, we need 5 Ghosts to win the game. The downside is that if there are no Pets left in the supply, players can instead steal Pets from each other!4table_building_slot_1

NekonyancerAs you can see, there are three different pets, but I like cats, so let's take the cat! *Click on the [red]Ghost Cat![/red]*5table_building_slot_1

NekonyancerNext, *scroll down* until you find our *House,* which is where all our cards, ghosts, and various items are stored. Nekonyancer[blue]Here's a quick recap of our turn.[/blue] First, we rolled the dice, then rerolled them. We used the combined dice value to take a "9" card. Taking the card triggered a Clock Tower icon, which triggered a Pawprint, which let us take a Pet Ghost from the supply. [blue]That's it for our first turn! Nekonyancer[green]Time to show you the other thing we can do on our turn![/green] Instead of using the dice to take a card, we can instead *flip* all our cards of a single value. Of course, it has to be one of the values on the dice or their sum. In this case, we can flip all our 2s, all our 4s, or all our 6s.1maintitlebar_content

NekonyancerOf course, we don't have any 2s or 4s right now, but we have a *6!* *Scroll down to our House.* As you can see, the *6* has been highlighted, showing that we can flip it with our current dice. But before we do, I'd better explain the icons along the *bottom* of the card.2maintitlebar_content

When we flip the 6, we'll be able to take another card from the supply, but its number must be 8 or less. There are five 6 cards in the game. Two of them have🔦(Clues) on the other side. One has a Clock Tower icon. Two have nothing at all. First, we have to resolve the guaranteed effect, which is flipping another of our cards with a value of 8 or less. The only one we can flip is the 1. NekonyancerThere's one more step in the card-flipping process that i skipped earlier: *visiting the Park.* There are five Park cards in this stack. Each one has a 🔦Clue cost in the bottom-right corner and a Ghost on the other side. If we have enough🔦in our inventory to buy the top card of the stack, we must do so!1park_active

NekonyancerRemember, we found a🔦on the other side of our 5 card. *Click on the Park stack!*2park_active

NekonyancerAs you can see, the next card in the Park stack will require 2🔦, not 1. And if you scroll down to our House again, you'll see that we now have *3* Ghosts - 1 human and two pets! [green]Remember, we only need 5 Ghosts to win![/green]1park_active
