About World-Asynch League
Welcome to World-Asynch League! An invitational and seasonal event who wants to be the Champions League of every boardgame (or at least most played of them) here on BGA.
There will be a Top Tier with 32 players (invitation required) every season, fighting for the trophy, with a group stage and then a knockout phase. Last 4 players will loss invitation for next season. Remaining 28 will remain on Top Tier.
Meanwhile, an open to everybody Access Tournament will take place fighting for 4 invitations to the Top Tier's next season championship. Ussualy this Access Tournament will be 128 players sized, also with grooup stage and playoffs phase.
Player spots on tournaments may vary based on demand, they can be less spots, but never more than 32 on Top Tier.
If invitations on Top Tier Tournament are not acepted on time we will send late invitations based on rank order of the last season's Access Tournament. Idea is always try to be 32 players on Top Tier.
On Season 0 (very first one of every boardgame) there will be just an Access Tournament of 128 spots (may vary) fighting for the title and the 32 invitations for Season 1 at the same time.
