It seems there may be a little flaw with the way you can so freely input clues, I know it matches how the real game would work, but hear me out on this
Say your clue is 1.2.4. (Tree, Carrot, Fish)
And my first thought is "OOh, carrots let you see in the Dark" so I go with Dark, but in my haste, I input Dark in the first box, which is for Tree
Then I do the clue for the other 2, hastily hit submit, and only after realise I should have put "Dark" in the second spot, as now it looks like 2.1.4. instead of the correct 1.2.4. and messes it for both teams
So, my proposition is this:
You can't freely input ALL THREE clues at once, instead you're FORCED to input the first clue in a separate area and submit before moving on to the 2nd, then 3rd. After which, you're shown all the clues you gave and matching location words to do a second confirmation on. Finally, the interface automatically plants your answers into the boxes as they are now
During this process, you can still see the whole board and access everything for reference
This is because, in a normal game, you would allow the Encryptor to say they messed up like that, and would more than likely allow them to correct it -

Instead, do this: In the text box where I type the clue set the placeholder text equal to the word. Before I type a clue the placeholder site be "carrot" so it's very clear.
