Report history
Thanks for the implmentation of the game!
Also, if the first placement was bad or nearly impossible to beat players can start anew.
So I'm keeping this variant in BGA digital implementation.
But a BGA adaptation should normally stick to the rules (and avoid house rules, unless agreed by the author/publisher), that is general guideline that as developers we ought to follow.
So, I think the best conpromise would be to have both options:
– Keep the possibility to change the board between levels
– Implement the way it is done in physical game, that is, do not move the cards
You could give the choice to the player at the end of the level, this way, if the players think they cannot cope with the same layout again, they could change it, but also keep it if they wish to follow the plain rules of the physical game.
(Similar to the way it is handle in The Crew adaptation)
In the current state, if one player decide to buy the physical game after trying it on BGA, they could miss the fact that they just can flip the cards between levels, as official rules state.
This kind of situation is IMO the best incentive to maintain a set of options that strictly follow the rules.
With that ensured, I feel free to add any relevant variant like the one you already put in place.
What do you think?
