During the Kunamua phase, the opponent had his Nyumba containing 5 seeds. It was his turn and not being forced to capture he put the seed from the barn into his Nyumba which he then sowed to the right. After this sowing he inexplicably lost the game.

Report history
"If the house is destroyed or temporarily inactive, a move without capture has to start in a pit with at least 2 seeds (instead of only having to be non-empty as before). Thus, the player looses then, if he only has pits with at most 1 seed."
this would be correct.
Also in the referred book of Nino Vessella it says in Rule 15 on page 60
"The players is not permitted to start kutakata from a pit with only one seed if that player no longer has the nyumba."
Would categorize it as "notabug", but will do "infoneeded" first, since you are an experienced Bao player and it might be a wrong interpretation of the rules.
So, bug is accepted and code will be adapted, that the situation above does not lead to end of game.
