After your last amendment, it's fine.
Btw, glad that my last fix made the trick...
I played twice, and can confirm that
* most of the pieces are not centered in their squares most of the time. They are slightly offset, and the direction of this offset differs. This would be acceptable to play but is probably not intended. (see screenshot, most of the pieces)
* _sometimes_ individual pieces are clearly out of their field. This happens during a move, and looks like the move is only 90% rendered and then stuck. I saw this happening two times with a king. Such a piece keeps its offset until in a later move of _this_ piece it _might_ slip back into its field. (see screenshot, green king on J 12)
* _sometimes_ individual pieces look perfectly centered. When viewing the screenshot you can see that they are _clipped_ 1 pixel top and 1 pixel right (blue king on N 10). This is only a tiny minor problem but the piece does not look round. Since the pieces are above the board there should be no clipping.
* F5 did not solve anything
