Detailed description
-
• Please copy/paste the error message you see on your screen, if applicable.
The translation strings have obviously been put together with only English in mind. There are strings that just get concatenated like " more adventurers", " or reload" and " (as ", which can work in English, but not necessarily in other languages where the word order may be different.
It is also unclear what the context is and how the full string will look like, so this is difficult to properly translate.
Please rework the strings so they contain full sentences that can work in any language, e.g. "${actplayer} gets ${adventurerCount} more Adventurer(s)". -
• Please explain what you wanted to do, what you did and what happened

Report history
Example of a game with good, unambiguous strings using variables: boardgamearena.com/translation?module_id=1266&source_locale=en_US&dest_locale=nl_NL
One string that remains awkward is this one: "${player_name} is going to ${capture_method} the ${capture_target_name} with ${adventurers_description} ${enhancements_description} which requires a dice roll of ${capture_roll_required}${accounting_for_enhancements}."
This is combined with an action in some way, which leads to a strange sentence that gets the word order wrong. For example, "stomp on" results in the English equivalent of "Player is going to Orange Dragon stomp on with [...]". I'm not sure where else the separate action strings are used, but perhaps this would also better be listed in full.
Additionally, I would remove the "the" where possible (for example in "${player_name} successfully captures the ${capture_target_name}.", since that can be a problem in languages with different articles ("de/het").
As a side note: log messages generally don't seem to end with a period in most games, but they do here.
