Detailed description
• Please copy/paste the error message you see on your screen, if applicable.
If two players have the same preferred color, then one will have a color different from the preferred one. I suggest to have an option to always show the tables with the preferred color. This is what I mean: let's assume player A and player B both have blue as his/her preferred color. On player A's screen the player A is shown as blue and the player B is something else (e.g. yellow). On player B's screen the player B is shown as blue, and player A is something else.• Please explain what you wanted to do, what you did and what happened

Report history
I cannot count the number of times I have misplayed because I have forgotten (upon re-entry to the game) that I am NOT the color I usually am.
Please do this BGA! :-)
(You are the best!)
The games are supposed to (and are, by the license, required to) emulate the physical version.
For almost all games, the only consequence is for the chat : you should refer to player names rather than to their colours !
Also: Let us pick preferred colors for each game. Not every green or blue looks great.
As for emulating the physical version, this is a non-issue. Every player will only see colors that were part of the original game. Further, everyone's eyesight is different anyway. Color is subjective.
Just suggested this myself and then was directed here. It's a big pain point, especially for turn based games like Carcassonne. I'm normally blue, but playing green unfortunately, but given the sporadic nature of turn based and people in other time zones, it's very easy to come into a game and reflexively play your color you play 99.9% of the time only to the benefit of your opponent.
PLEASE figure out a way to make this work for all games. Color seen on screen is irrelevant and if I can use a different board preference on Can't Stop that other players don't see, this should be just as simple.
This should be 100% on the client UI side. The internal part of the game code should not be color sensitive (i.e. it can have player 1, 2, 3, ... ).
Also it would not break any license of the game requirement to match the physically version. To each individual player it would look and be exactly the same as now.
Player 1: "Hey blue, you took my spot"
Player 4: "That was me."
Player 3: "What do you mean Player 1? You're blue."
Player 1: "No, I'm green."
Player 2: "No, I'm green!"
Player 4: "What? I'm green!"
Also, if player usually plays with one color - assiging this color to a differeent player is very misleading (actual table boardgames have exactly the same problem of course).
IMO this proposal might not be worth effort needed... but in itself it has merit.
