Report history
In the replay we clearly see only 4/6 of the column, making your argument wrong.
This is why I then played in the second column to complete the diagonal 4 counters.
For some reason the game record has not shown this record of 2 moves and I assume the opponent saw what was recorded.
Luckily I took a screenshot - seems the red disappeared but you can clearly see the yellow I played!

I suppose it's an anomaly rather than a bug. Closing this.
