Hi, this game is a riot, thank you for bringing it to BGA! It plays well and the animations are fun.
We noticed that the physical games comes with tiles only, and no playing board. Thus, when a player cannot place a tile anywhere on top of the pyramid, they always have a choice between two spots (one at the very left, and one at the very right side of the pyramid base).
In the current BGA version, the pyramid outline that forms the "board" can force a player to place the new tile on one of the two sides, if there's no room left on the other. This can change the game outcome, for example if a coal/blowtorch tile was previously placed adjacent to this spot.
I suggest making the board bigger, or perhaps making it dynamic so it grows once it's filled up on one side. -

Move #86
When building this, I was well aware that this is an additional limitation. However, the problem is that the finished pyramid can never become wider or higher than the given background scheme (i.e. playing board ). Any additional field would therefore be space that cannot really be used and just limits visibility on smaller devices, e.g. Smart Phones.
However, I have been reflecting on this and I think I have come to a solution:
I could add a single field in the bottom row to the left and to the right of the current palying board.
If the pyramid extends far enough and the active player gets to choose to which side to extend the pyramid, they can use that field, too. If they do, the whole pyramid is moved to the left or to the right respectively. That way no other additional fields are needed, but you are always free to choose to extend the pyramid to the left and to the right.
Would that make sense?
