One tiny snag. Once you’ve selected a card, if you try and rotate it immediately then parts of the card aren’t visible as they go off the playing area. You have to place the card and then rotate it to get around this. You should be probably be able to do it both ways.

Report history
Given the way you have implemented this, I think the best solution would simply be to place the new card in the centre of the playing area instead of in the top left corner. Should hopefully be easy to change the coordinates.
Both this button and the rotation arrows should be hidden when you first select the card, and appear only when you need to rotate and place it.
And, as mentioned, of your center the new card int he playing area, this will work pretty well.
