Detailed description
• Please copy/paste the error message you see on your screen, if applicable.
Each pawn is numbered on the game history but we can't see these numbers on the board. By putting numbers on them it would also be clearer when they are in the waiting area, which is the same colour.• Please explain what you wanted to do, what you did and what happened

Report history
it would be nice when it's also visible to us which pawn has which numbre.
The spaces are traditionally numbered from 1 to 18, starting from the starting space of each player. Each space on the board can therefore be traced by the combination of the space number and the corresponding space #1 color.
Why could it be ridiculous? Because it tries to put the cart before the horse. The problem is that the messages identify pawns, not fields. But they should. "Robo65 plays 2♣ and moves his 2nd pawn 2 fields forward" - that's not really helpful. A better message system would follow diamond's thought and number the fields from <color>-1 to <color>-18. And a message would be something like this:
"Robo65 plays 9♣ and moves a pawn from Red 3 to Red 12".
But this might get complicated when players choose their favourite color (premium feature). There are eleven of them, and I didn't check how Toc behaves when players choose unusual colors like khaki or cyan. And what would happen when Een adds three more custom colors?
So, to avoid a complex software construct just to map arbitrary colors to color names, numbering the pawns might be easier indeed.
All of that is interesting but is it really useful after all?
Toc is a game where you don't really need the history for making your move: you just need the current situation and your cards (the only real use in game for log IMO is to know which cards have been played).
When I choose what to log in a game I develop, I consider the log as a way to reconstruct the whole history of the game "just" by reading it (understand: you can replay the game with an actual board following the instructions). That is why I numbered the pawns, just to know which pawn has been played. This is only my design, the other games don't necessarely follow that guideline.
But indicating that number of the pawn is overkill I think, since it does not add any useful information, neither to make your move, nor to build the history of the game. And distinguishing the pawns inside the waiting area seems irrelevant to me...
The Chess-like notation you propose refering to the numbering of the fields would ease the read of the whole history indeed, but not the players in-game I think, because there are not necessarely aware of this system and that would introduce too much colors to be read ("Red 3? Red 12? what is this Red ? I did not move a Red pawn").
So I think in that matter, the best solution (even if not perfect) is to change nothing.
Thanks!

I finally changed my mind, and made an option for it (that way players who don't care can keep their usual numberless display).
