u-topiaWelcome to Bandido!
This is a cooperative card game. All players play together.
!!! Since this game can be played alone, this tutorial uses a scene of a single player to illustrate the game.1archivecontrol_editmode_centercomment000
u-topia"*Bandido is trying to escape again. Stop him!*"
The object of the game is to place the cards to block all the tunnels and prevent Bandido from escaping.2archivecontrol_editmode_centercomment000
u-topiaOn the table is Bandido, who has dug 6 exit tunnels from his prison. (he looks evil, doesn't he? )
[tip] Depending on the difficulty level (5 or 6 exits), you can choose the one you prefer.3archivecontrol_editmode_centercomment000
u-topiaDraw 3 cards from the deck to start the game. The cards are 1x2 in size and have different tunnel shapes on them. Some cards have a picture of a flashlight on them.4archivecontrol_editmode_centercomment000playerhand_item_4 6 playerhand_item_22 6 playerhand_item_45 6
u-topiaThere are 2 things to do on your turn: 1) Place, 2) Draw5archivecontrol_editmode_centercomment000
u-topia*1) Place*
On your turn, you place a card from your hand so that the tunnel is connected to one or more cards on the table. It cannot be placed in such a way that even one tunnel is blocked by a wall or overlaps an existing card. The cards can be rotated and placed in either portrait or landscape orientation.
6archivecontrol_editmode_centercomment000
u-topia*2) Draw*
After you have placed your card, take a new card from the draw pile.7archivecontrol_editmode_centercomment000
u-topia*Explanation of victory conditions.*
- If you manage to [red]*block off all tunnels*[/red], you [red]*win*[/red].
- If one [blue]*tunnel remains open after all cards*[/blue] have been placed, Bandido escapes and you [blue]*lose*[/blue].
- If you place a card that would make it [blue]*impossible to block*[/blue] the tunnel you [blue]*lose*[/blue].8archivecontrol_editmode_centercomment000
u-topiaNow, let's start placing the cards.
*Action*: Place the card with the red border [red]*horizontally on the left side of the prison*[/red].9archivecontrol_editmode_centercomment010playerhand_item_22 6
u-topiaNice! The tunnel is connected! But there are still many exits. You placed a card, so you draw a new card. ...It's a shaped tunnel with lots of branches.1archivecontrol_editmode_centercomment6162e4d5c1f6400playerhand_item_10 6
u-topiaLet's place the cards we just drew on the table.
*Action*: Place two tunnels [red]*just above the prison*[/red] so that they connect!2archivecontrol_editmode_centercomment6162e4d5c1f6410playerhand_item_10 6
u-topiaGood job. Two tunnels have been connected at the same time. There is going to be a card in your hand that fits perfectly in the upper left corner of the table.
*Action*: Place the card with the red border on the [red]*upper left corner of the table*[/red].
[tip] Click on a card to bring up the rotate icon, which you can use to rotate it.1archivecontrol_editmode_centercomment6162e4e47531210playerhand_item_4 6
u-topiaGreat! The upper left tunnel is now blocked! Your operation is perfect!
(!!! I'd like to explain a little more, so I'll skip the scene.)

u-topia[tip] If the screen becomes difficult to see, use the icons to zoom in, out, or change the board size. You can also move the board by drag & drop.1zoomout6162e4f1e61cd00
u-topiaPlace more and more cards on the table...1x1 space was created. But it's not a problem since the space is enclosed by walls. (If the tunnel is connected to a 1x1 space, you lose!)1archivecontrol_editmode_centercomment6162e53066fab00
u-topiaNow 1x2 space was created. The tunnel is not closed either. But you can fill it later if you have the right card for this space!1archivecontrol_editmode_centercomment6162e57fb6cd500
u-topiaOops, no cards to play. In this case, you can place your cards under the draw pile and take three new cards.
*Action*: Click ”[red]*Change hand*[/red]”1archivecontrol_editmode_centercomment6162e5d22759210page-title 16
u-topiaYou exchanged them and it looks like you have a playable card. This will allow the game to continue.1archivecontrol_editmode_centercomment6162e5d7284d600
u-topiaNow, this scene...Using the 2 cards in hand, I think you can just block the tunnel at the bottom of the table.
Can you figure out which one to use?1archivecontrol_editmode_centercomment6162e5e33082300
u-topiaYes! Use these two cards. Let's block the tunnel!2archivecontrol_editmode_centercomment6162e5e33082300playerhand_item_29 6 playerhand_item_65 6
u-topia*Action*: Place this card at the [red]*lower of the table*[/red].3archivecontrol_editmode_centercomment6162e5e33082310playerhand_item_29 6
u-topiaOne more card.
*Action*: Place this card to [red]*block the tunnel*[/red].1archivecontrol_editmode_centercomment6162e5eea29bf10playerhand_item_65 6
u-topiaWell done! There is only one place left, the 1x2 hole. But, there are no cards to play again. 1archivecontrol_editmode_centercomment6162e5f21455800
u-topia*Action*: Click "[red]*Change card*[/red]" to draw the perfect card.

u-topia[tip] ”If the perfect card isn't left in the deck, then I have to keep drawing forever, don't I?"
Don't worry. If deck is only cards you can't place, you will be defeated immediately.1archivecontrol_editmode_centercomment6162e5f7e7fcf00
u-topiaThe perfect card just came into your hand! Now you can win!
*Action*: [red]*Place the last one*[/red].1archivecontrol_editmode_centercomment6162e5fd461c410playerhand_item_34 6
u-topiaCongratulations! You've blocked all the tunnels.
You should be able to play with your own hands by now. Now you have to prevent the Bandido from escaping by yourself.
It's always fun to play with other players. Let's have some Bandido fun!
Thanks for reading all the way through!1archivecontrol_editmode_centercomment6162e5ffd56a300
